Description
English: An interaction with veteran sailors was held at INS Gomantak on 27 August 2021 as part of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav and Swarnim Vijay Varsh celebrations. During the event, Vice Admiral R. Hari Kumar, FOCINC WNC felicitated Veer Naris and 1971 War Veterans. Addressing the gathering, the FOCINC said that the Indian Navy is indebted to the veterans for their service and explained the measures implemented towards welfare of ex- servicemen. He called upon the veterans to encourage youth to join the Indian Navy, as Ambassadors of the service.
