Summary[edit]

Description
English: Paolo Calcidese (left) and Albino Carbognani (right) working with a 400 mm f/8 Ritchey-Chrétien reflector telescope in the Scientific Platform of the Astronomical Observatory of the Autonomous Region of the Aosta Valley, Italy. For the contrast between dark and light, the few spots of colour, the pose of the two researchers, the ensemble can vaguely recall the art works of the great dutch painter Jan Veermer.
