| Description |
English: A view southward from Park Place over Veterans Park in Depew, New York on a January 2023 afternoon. Lying at the central node of the radial street plan designed for the village in 1893 by the Frederick Law Olmsted company, this verdant 1.8-acre expanse sports a gazebo, a series of memorials to Depewites who died in various wars, and a pleasant location amidst a streetscape of handsome turn-of-the-century residences and some of the remaining civic and community buildings that were erected by the Depew Land Company at the beginning of the village's history. |
