Summary
[edit]| Description | Milwaukee City and county employees and community donated 15,000 items to the Milwaukee VA as part of its holiday gift giving drive. "This has just been incredible. I had no idea the response would be so big," said Megan O'Connor, who works in the mayor's office and organized the event. She said donations ran the gamut from toothpaste and floss to blanks, games, coloring books and even kitchen blenders. All of the items will go to Veterans and Veteran programs such as our homeless outreach. | |||
