Description
English: This art nouveau locket was made by Victor Mayer, Pforzheim, Germany, in 1905. It was designed by the artist Georg Kleemann, teacher at the Großherzogliche Kunstgewerbeschule in Pforzheim, Germany. In 2007, this design was part of a technical reconstruction of the German Technical Museum in Berlin. The original locket is now in the Jewellery Museum in Pforzheim.
Deutsch: Dieses Jugendstilmedaillon wurde 1905 von Victor Mayer, Pforzheim, hergestellt. Der Entwurf stammt vom Schmuckkünstler Georg Kleemann, damals Professor an der Pforzheimer Großherzoglichen Kunstgewerbeschule. 2007 wurde dieses Design im Rahmen des Jugendstilschmuckprojekts des Deutschen Technikmuseums Berlin technisch rekonstruiert. Das Original befindet sich im Pforzheimer Schmuckmuseum.
