Description
Français : Var, Vidauban, Château St Julien d'Aille. Domaine vinicole de 172 hectares comportant un sentiers de randonnées & VTT en liaison avec le Conservatoire d'espaces naturels Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

Le château Saint Julien d'Aille doit son nom à Saint Julien, centurion romain martyrisé en l'an 304 après J.C. et à l'Aille, petite rivière affluent de l'Argens qui longe le domaine.

En 1014, l’Abbaye Saint-Victor de Marseille, alors propriétaire du domaine, y fit édifier une chapelle.

L'ancienne chapelle, dans le Château Saint Julien d'Aille, est attestée par une bulle papale datant de 1095 qui sanctifie ces lieux à Saint Julien.
