Description
Deutsch: Fotomontage-Die drei Büsten des Republikdenkmals: Jakob Reumann-Victor Adler-Ferdinand Hanusch. Die Büste von Victor Adler stammt vom Bildhauer Anton Hanak.Am 12.11.1928 wurde das Denkmal enthüllt, jedoch nach den Februarkämpfen (1934) von der autoritären Stadtverwaltung mit Kruckenkreuzfahnen verhängt und dann abgetragen. Die Wiederaufstellung des Denkmals erfolgte durch den Bildhauer Mario Petrucci und wurde am 12.11.1948 enthüllt. Am 30.4.1961 wurde die Rückseite des Denkmals durch einen Sprengstoffanschlag beschädigt. Quelle: Historisches Lexikon Wien, Band 4, v. Felix Czeike.
