Description
English: Ruins of the Church of St. Peter'(at a place called Old Village of Quimerc'h) in Pont-de-Buis-lès-Quimerch, Brittany, France This church was build on sixteenth century. Itis the ancient parish church of the Old Village of Quimerc'h "abandoned 1877 after the town was moved 4 miles away to rebuild the road Landerneau <-> Quimper, against the new railroad. It was once stones dated 1511 and 1584 (stolen) (information page of the local Community of towns). The church and ossuary (dated 1579 and recently restored) which is adjacent, are listed as historic monuments "(Remains of the church (ie. C 443): ranking by order of April 23, 1932 Ruins of + ossuary (ie. C 443): ranking by order of November 17, 1966). There is also a very old tree near the ossuary (400 years).
Français : Ruines de l' Eglise Saint-Pierre (au lieu-dit Vieux Bourg de Quimerc'h) à Pont-de-Buis-lès-Quimerch, Finistère, France Cette église de style gothique flamboyant breton, XVIe s.), est l'ancienne église paroissiale du "Vieux Bourg de Quimerc’h", abandonné en 1877 après que le bourg a été déplacé à 4 kilomètres de là pour le reconstruire sur la route Landerneau - Quimper, contre la nouvelle voie ferrée. Elle abritait autrefois des pierres datées de 1511 et 1584 (dérobées) (page d'information de la Communauté de commune Aulne-maritime). L'église et l'ossuaire (daté de 1579, et récemment restauré) qui la jouxte, sont classés "Monument Historique" (Restes de l' église (cad. C 443) : classement par décret du 23 avril 1932 + Ruines de l'ossuaire (cad. C 443) : classement par arrêté du 17 novembre 1966). On trouve aussi près de l'ossuaire un if multiséculaire (plus de 400 ans)
