Summary
[edit]DescriptionView northeast from Kingswalk, West Kirby.JPG |
English: A photo taken from Kings Walk, a residential street on the eastern slope of Grange Hill, West Kirby, Wirral, Merseyside, England. The elevation of this street allows for commanding views across the region. On this day visibility was reasonably good, but not perfect. Looking to the northeast, we can see the wind turbines of Seaforth Docks on the left of shot. On the full resolution image only, the Winter Hill transmitting mast in Lancashire can just about be seen on the right at 32 miles away, around 4 miles north-west of Bolton. Most television aerials in the street clearly pointing directly towards the mast. |
