Title
View of a flood on Hutt Road, circa 1917
Description

Hutt Street is a main road on the eastern boundary of the central business district (CBD) of Adelaide. It runs north-south, from Pirie Street, and can be considered a branch of East Terrace. It runs to South Terrace, where it becomes Hutt Road as pictured above.

Hutt Street was named after Sir William Hutt, an early South Australian pioneer, and a commissioner for the foundation of the state. Today, the street is known for its Colonial-era buildings, restaurants and boutiques.
