Deutsch: Villa der Pauline Bonaparte (1780-1825), der späteren Fürstin Borghese, Lieblingsschwester Napoleons, in Viareggio. Sie ließ sich diese massive rechteckige Villa mit romantischen Garten und Meeresblick 1822 vom Architekt Giovanni Lazzarini (1769-1834), einem von ihrer Schwester Elisa Bonaparte (1777-1820) bevorzugten italienischen Architekten, entwerfen, um in der Nähe ihres zeitweise, 16 Jahre jüngeren Geliebten, des Musikers Giovanni Pacini (1796-1867) zu sein. Der Palast wurde gerne auch gemäß dem Ruf der Bauherrin 'Rifugeo di Venere', Fluchtort der Venus, genannt. Nach dem Tod von Paolina erbte ihre Schwester Caroline Murat, geborene Bonaparte (1782-1839) diese Villa. Derzeit befinden sich darin das Städtische Museum von Viareggio. |
