טַרְוויזיו (Tarvisio או Tarvis בגרמנית או Trbiž בסלובנית), עיירה השייכת לפרובינציה אודינה (Udine) שבמחוז "פריולי-ונציה ג'וליה" בצפון-מזרח איטליה, סמוך למפגש הגבולות של איטליה עם אוסטריה וסלובניה. אוכלוסיית המחוז רובה "פריולים" שאבותיהם סלובנים, ולכן מוגדר המחוז כאוטונומיה עצמאית מיוחדת באיטליה בעלת זכויות תחוקתיות נתונות, בעיקר בתחומי הלשון, החינוך והתרבות. בסוף שנת 2005 היו בעיר כ-5,000 תושבים. עד שנת 1918 היו מרבית תושבי העיר סלובנים. כיום דוברי הגרמנית וסלובנים הם מיעוט בעיר ומספרם נאמד, לפי מפקד משנת 1971, ב-9.4% בלבד.

העובדה כי העיר, המהווה תחנת גבול בין שלוש מדינות, הייתה בשליטת הבריגדה העברית בסיום מלחמת העולם השנייה הפכה אותה למרכז קליטה של פליטים יהודים ממזרח אירופה בדרכם לארץ ישראל. פעילות ענפה זו נמשכה חודשים אחדים, עד אשר הצבא הבריטי העביר את החיילים היהודים לגרמניה.
