Description

titel: Voetstuk van doopvont

beschrijving: Voetstuk van doopvont (D.1), met later bijgemaakte, wit geverfde, ovaal zinken deksel (D.2) met goudkleurig metalen kruis op de bol.

herkomst: Afkomstig uit de H. Barbarakerk aan de Crooswijkseweg te Rotterdam, gebouwd in 1922 als vervanging van een noodkerk in de Pijperstraat. De Barbarakerk is in 1974 aangekocht door de gemeente om te verbouwen tot sporthal. Toen is het doopvont aangekocht door het museum.
