Description
Русский: Шахматный столик. Подарок народа Люксембурга гражданам Сталинграда, 1951 год. Мастера: Moes Émile (Мос Эмиль, автор проекта), Calmus Pierre (Калмус Пьер, кузнец-жестянщик). Столешница круглая, в центр её вмонтирована шахматная доска; с четырёх сторон шахматного поля – надпись из рельефных букв: «1941 — 1945 / Благодарный / Люксембург / Сталинграду». По краям столешницы прикреплены два герба Советского Союза и два герба Люксембурга, столешница покрыта закалённым стеклом «Jemeppe / securit / Belgium». На кромке столешницы и на гербах Люксембурга выбито имя кузнеца «Calmus» и инициалы герцогини Люксембургской Шарлотты. Ножки стола фигурные. Коллекция музея-панорамы «Сталинградская битва» в городе Волгограде. [1].
