| Description |
Nederlands: Het gemeentehuis van Ubach over Worms werd in 1931 in gebruik genomen. Het is een creatie van bouwkundige Ir. Jan Beersma, die in dienst was van de steenkolenmijn Laura & Vereeniging te Eygelshoven (Limburg). In 1982 werd het monumentale pand overbodig als gemeentehuis, aangezien de gemeente Ubach over Worms opging in de nieuwe gemeente Landgraaf. Sindsdien vormt het gebouw het onderkomen van Woningvereniging Ubach over Worms. Het adres van het gebouw is Hovenstraat 140, 6374 HG Landgraaf.
English: The town hall of Ubach over Worms, at Hovenstraat 140, 6374 HG Landgraaf, the Netherlands, which came into use in 1931. It was a creation of the architect Jan Beersma, who worked in the Laura & Company colliery at Eygelshoven (Limburg). In 1982, the building became redundant because Ubach over Worms was incorporated into the new municipality of Landgraaf. Since then, the building has been home to the Ubach over Worms Housing Association. |
