Summary[edit]

Description
English: View of the small town of Vossevangen with surrounding valleys, hills and mountains in Voss municipality in the western part of Norway, seen from a gondola cabin on the Voss Gondol, an aerial passenger lift (gondolheis, taubane, svevebane) opened in 2019. The gondola cableway goes from the Voss Railway Station to the summit, ski resort, and hiking area of the Hangur mountain at 820 metres above sea level, north of the town.

The photo shows the street Uttrågata, the European route E16, Voss kulturhus, the church Vangskyrkja|, etc. at Vossavangen, also the lake Vangsvatnet with Prestegardslandet, Prestegardsmoen, Nyre, Jernesmoen, Bordalen, etc. in the background. The early afternoon sunset colours the snowy landscape yellow and blue due to the low sun and long shadows from the mountains.
