| Description |
c/n 9931. US Navy Bureau No 121881. Transferred to the Argentine Navy in August 1957 and given the serial ‘0389’. Displayed on a pole at Almirante Zar Airbase from 1968 to 1990, she was then recovered to the United States and restored to fly by the Lone Star Flight Museum. She took to the air again in 1994 and remains airworthy wearing the markings of VC-3, a night fighter unit during the Korean War. She is seen on display at the museum’s previous home of Galveston, Texas, United States. 18th March 2017 |
