[edit]DescriptionVought XF3U-1 fighter.jpg | The single U.S. Navy Vought XF3U-1 two-seat fighter (BuNo 9222, later 9746). It made its first flight in May 1933, but the U.S. Navy wanted it converted to a scout bomber in November 1933. The same plane then became the XSBU-1 prototype. 84 SBU-1s and 40 SBU-2s were delivered from 1935 to 1937 and served until 1941. |
