Description
Српски / srpski: Црква Светог Богојављања у Врдилама подигнута је 1922. на месту старије грађевине из XIX века. Има занимљиво архитектонско решење, јединствено на територији западне Србије, будући да представља дело руског архитекте (Михаил Глушен), који се потрудио да га прилагоди српској црквеној традицији. Градњу су помогли мештани Врдила и околних села у спомен на ратнике изгинуле у Првом светском рату. Основа цркве је у облику триконхоса са потковичастим апсидама. Куполни простор карактеристичан је за руске цркве и чини га осмострана кришкаста конструкција са завршетком у облику турбана над којим се уздиже крст на кугли. Купола је покривена лимом, а остатак цркве бибер-црепом. Унутар олтарског простора под је сачињен од надгробника, амвонска розета је пренета из старије грађевине. Прозори су уски, а њихови лучни завршеци оивичени су украсом од фасадне цигле. Исти мотив се понавља и на западном порталу. На западној фасади изнад портала налазе се плоче са подацима о изградњи и приложницима храма. Изнад плоча смештен је велики окулус са крстом уписаним у кругу и радијално распоређеним зракама око круга.
