| Description |
English: Seen parked outside the Heinonline Business & Technology Center in Amherst, New York on a dreary December 2022 afternoon is a Ford E-Series van belonging to, and advertising, radio station WDCX. The oldest continually operating Christian radio station in the Buffalo market, and only the second of any format to broadcast in stereophonic sound, WDCX signed on the air in February 1963 and today broadcasts a schedule of nationally syndicated religious programming both on its original frequency of 99.5 FM as well as via two AM simulcasts (WDCZ 970 in Buffalo; WDCX 990 in Rochester) and one Class D FM translator (W296EF 107.1 in Rochester). |
