| Description |
English: Following nucleic acid extraction from isolates, a sequencing library is prepared and loaded into the sequencing machine which generates a large number of overlapping sequence reads. The reads are assembled or aligned to reconstruct the genome sequence. Genome sequences of different isolates can be compared to determine single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs), which enables determination of genomic linkage. |
