Description
English: British WW2 Commandos battle dress uniform for a Free Norwegian Forces soldier of the Interallied Commando No. 5 Troop. Military beret with Norwegian die-cast cap badge produced in UK during WWII; the crowned cypher/monogram H7 of King Haakon VII inside an oak wreath.

The Norwegian armed forces in exile were the remains of the armed forces of Norway which escaped from Nazi occupation to continue the fight from Allied countries, such as Britain and Canada.

Photo taken on May 8, 2019 at the Lofoten War Memorial Museum (Lofoten Krigsminnemuseum) in Svolvær, Norway. The museum exhibits uniforms, militaria, smaller items, etc. from World War II, the Third Reich era, and the German occupation of Norway 1940 – 1945.
