Description
English: German military handpainted wooden warning sign from the German occupation of Norway in World War Two 1940 – 1945. Text in German and Norwegian:
HALT – SPERRGEBIET – Jeder Verkehr – einschl. Fussgänger – bei Strafe VERBOTEN.
STOPP – SPERRET OMRÅDE – All Trafikk – også for fotgjengere – er FORBUDT og blir straffet etter krigslov.

Photo taken at a private military history museum in the tunnels at Torås Fort, a former coastal fortress and battery on the island of Tjøme, Norway. The fortress was established in 1938 and completed by German military forces as part of the Festung Norwegen and Atlantic Wall during Nazi Germany's occupation of Norway in the Second World War.

Foto fra Færder Militærhistoriske museum (Torås Museum), en privat samling av militærhistoriske gjenstander i et bunkeranlegg ved Torås fort på Tjøme. Kystfortet ble etablert av Forsvaret i 1939, men utbygd og ferdigstilt med fire kanoner av den tyske okkupasjonsmakten under krigen.
