  • General officer's high-fronted, blue-grey peaked visor cap (German: Schirmmütze) of the Luftwaffe. Cap insignia (Mützenabzeichen) with the national emblem and the national colours:
    • Luftwaffeadler ("Luftwaffe eagle", Fliegender Adler), the "flying" Luftwaffe version of the Third Reich Reichsadler (German imperial/state eagle) national emblem. The wellknown eagle-and-swastika (Hakenkreuzadler) was adopted as national and military coat-of-arms from the Nazi Party emblem (Parteiadler, "party eagle"); also called Hoheitszeichen ('national emblem'), Hoheitsadler ("national eagle") Mützenadler ("cap eagle"), or Wehrmachtsadler ("eagle of the armed forces").
    • National tri-colour cockade/roundel (Reichskokarde) and oakleaf wreath and stylized wings device (Mützenkranz mit Schwinge, Schwingen, Mützenanstecker, Abzeichen, Metallabzeichen)
    • Piping (Paspel, Paspelierung, trim) along the edges of the cap band and crown in corps colour of the Luftwaffe (Waffenfarbe der Luftwaffe)
    • Cord (Mützenkordel) for officers, plain chin strap for Wehrmacht EM/NCO
  • Kleiner Rock ("little coat"), a double-breasted Special Coat for General Officers, variant of the Waffenrock tunic, in Luftwaffe-blue (blue-grey) gabardine, with large lapels, two pockets on the skirt, deep turned-up cuffs, etc.
    • Rank insignia (Dienstgradabzeichen) on shoulder boards (Schulterstücke) and collar tabs (Kragenspiegel) indicating Generaloberst
    • White-lined lapels and Piping (Paspel, trimming) on the covered fly and cuffs. The kleiner Rock für Generale der Luftwaffe was a dress tunic specifically made for General Officers featuring white lapel facings and white piping down the front panel and on the cuffs.
    • Gilded buttons, and gold-embroidered bullion Luftwaffe style chest eagle uniform patch (Brustadler, breast eagle), the eagle-and-swastika national emblem (Hoheitszeichen, Hoheitsadler, Reichsadler, Wehrmachtsadler)

      • Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes), over necktie
      • Iron Cross (Eisernes Kreuz, EK) 1st Class on coat breast

      • Luftwaffe Pilot's Badge (Flugzeugführerabzeichen, Pilotenabzeichen), a World War II German military decoration instituted in 1935 and awarded to military aviators after one completed flight training and the flying licence and citation were received
  • Trousers of correspondingly coloured cloth, each side with white piping between broad white stripes. The long trousers worn with the "little coat" displayed double borad stripes and piping of coloured appropriate to the wearer's Waffenfarbe.
