Waihi Falls, Waimea Valley, Oʻahu, Hawaiian Islands This photo shows excessive rainfall over the "forty days rains" of March 2006 in Hawaii at Waihi Falls (Waimea Falls). The park was close to the public during this crucial and dangerous period at the Waimea Valley Aududon Center* and Waihi Falls, Waimea Valley, Oʻahu, Hawaiian Islands. To the right of the falls, are bleachers. The water rose and washed away or destroyed some of the lower ones. Our nursery, where I worked, was full of water and mud. The lower roads and bridges were also full of mud and water, and destroyed part of one bridge. There was much clean up!
