Description
English: Turnstile in front of the outgoing staircase platform in the mezzanine of the Wakefield-241st Street Elevated Railway Terminal over White Plains Road at the intersection with 241st Street in the Wakefield section of the North Bronx, New York City. The station is the northern terminus of the train in New York City, and this is one of the two side exits from the platform. Since the station is not only the northernmost station on the line, but geographically the northernmost station in the entire New York City Subway system, it would be inappropriate to call one exit of the other northbound or southbound exits. Note also the handicapped exit in the background off to the right.
