Deutsch: Waldgrenze in der Nähe des Aggensteins (links der Hang). Der Aggenstein ist ein 1.987 m hoher Berg in den Alpen auf der Grenze von Deutschland und Österreich. Dort befindet er sich im bayerischen Teil der Tannheimer Berge nur ein paar Kilometer südlich von Pfronten (Landkreis Ostallgäu).
Alpine Waldgrenze: Die höchste Höhe über Normalnull NN, in der Bäume auf Bergen wachsen können - weiter oben ist es zu kalt. Blick auf Sebenspitze und Sefenspitze mit den höheren Felsgipfeln weiter östlich dahinter, links die Große Schlicke.
English: Treeline near the Aggensteins. The Aggenstein is a 1,987 m mountain in the Alps on the border between Germany and Austria, in the Bavarian part of the Tannheimer Mountains just a few miles south of Pfronten (Ostallgäu). |
