Description
Deutsch: Kriegerdenkmal Vassurány
Magyar: Hősi emlékmű (Felállítás 1924. november 2., készült: 1918 v. előbb, Sós Géza alkotás /(eredeti nevén Salzmann Géza, később néha: Sós-Salzmann Géza; 1870. Bécs -1918, ?/) Az emlékművet az I. világháború Vassurány hőseinek emlékére állították. Az obeliszkre elhelyezett márványtábla 31 nevet említ. Az emlékmű fent hármashalomban és kettős keresztben végződik. A II. világháború után felkerült tábla névsora 17 nevet tartalmaz. A talapzatra lehelyezett turulmadár eredetileg feljebb volt - Vas megye, Vassurány, Hősök tere, a templom melletti parkban.
