Laid Beside His Father. Washington Irving Bishop Buried Today in Greenwood. Funeral Services Held In Grace Church This Morning Unity. His Body Photographed in the Coffin. Fears for His Mother's Mental Condition. Eminent European Physicians to Hold Another Autopsy at Her Demand. The body of Washington Irving Bishop was removed from Hawke's undertaking establishment at No. R Sixth atcnuout 12.33 this afternoon and taken to the Hoffman House. The casket was of cedar covered with black cloth and velvet and rich drapery inside and out. The corridors and parlors of tho Hoffman were thronged with friend and acquaintances of the dead mind-reader. Mrs. Bishop is nearly fraught with grief and her friends fear that her mind has become affected by the loss of her ton. In the advertisement of his death, which she had published today, she refers to her son as .Sir Washington Irving Bishop and goes on to give his pedigree and the number of clubs and societies to which he belonged. From the Hoffman House the body was taken to Oraco Church, where the funeral services wore hold. Thence the funeral proceeded to Greenwood Cemetery, where Bishop was laid beside his father. His picture in his coffin was taken at the undertaker's shop this morning. His mother says she has eminent physicians coming from Europe and tho Wobt, and that when thoy arrive another autoi sy will be held, as she is not yet satisfied that her son was dead when the original autopsy wuh uiado. Tho reason that tho Freoma.ons did not take charge of the funeral, nx requested by Air. Bishop, is that although a prominent Mason across the water. Bishop never affiliated with tho fraternity on this side, and according to a law of tho society the Masons hero could not take charge ot tho funeral arrangements.
