Summary[edit]

Description
English: Waste weir, seen from the bridge at the 13 mile mark, on the 4 mile level of the Log Wall, Chesapeake and Ohio Canal. The boards are out, and the iron paddles can be seen (although left closed). In the winter, the canal is usually drained for repairs. This is the same weir that releases water that makes a stream on the Billy Goat A Trail, namely this one:
