Description
ไทย: วัดพระประโทณเจดีย์วรวิหาร เป็นพระอารามหลวงชั้นตรี ชนิดวรวิหาร เมื่อวันที่ 26 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2527 โดยกระทรวงศึกษาธิการได้ประกาศตั้งเมื่อวันที่ 30 มีนาคม พ.ศ. 2527 ตั้งอยู่ที่หมู่ 1 ตำบลพระประโทน อำเภอเมืองนครปฐม จังหวัดนครปฐม อยู่ห่างจากพระปฐมเจดีย์ไปตามถนนเพชรเกษมทางทิศตะวันออกเป็นระยะทางประมาณ 2 กิโลเมตร จุดเด่นของวัดคือ พระประโทณเจดีย์ เป็นเจดีย์สมัยทวารวดี มีรูปแบบเดิมเป็นทรงโอคว่ำ มีการขุดพบวัตถุโบราณจำนวนมากที่วัดแห่งนี้ เช่น พระพุทธรูป เศียรพระพุทธรูปปูนปั้น พระดินเผา รวมทั้งโลหะสำริดรูปพญาครุฑเหยียบนาค
