| Description | Having driven a bit past all those tea gardens on the slopes and photographing those pickers, we come to real tea country. Now this is serious business. Tea, tea as far as eye can see running over a series of rolling hills. I was amazed at the vast expanse of tea plantations and was wondering about the sheer logistics of picking tea across such a vast territory! Looking at the neon green colour of the tea bushes here, I assumed that they were still immature tea bushes that had some time to go before their leaves are plucked and processed into drinkable tea. (Vagamon/ Munnar Tea Estates, Kerala, India, Apr. 2016) |
