Summary[edit]
DescriptionWeatherly PA Mrs Schwab School.jpg |
English: The former Mrs. C.M. Schwab School in Weatherly, Carbon County, Pennsylvania. Mrs. C.M. Schwab, born Emma Eurana Dinkey, grew up in Weatherly and married the steel magnate en:Charles M. Schwab. They donated $70,000 - $85,000 (different sources) to build the school. It operated from 1901-1991. It appears to be empty now, but in fairly good condition, though the blue canvas on the roof suggests a leaky roof. Sited high on the hill above a creek as you enter town.
Not listed on the NRHP, though it very well could be. |
