Description
Oprócz pływaków uspławniających sieci nieodzownym elementem sieci stawnych były ciężarki umieszczane u ich spodu, zwane grzęzami lub gręzami. Te wykonywane z kamienia lub wypalanej gliny znane są u nas od średniowiecza. W ostatnich czasach odlewano je z żelaza lub ołowiu, wykonywano z blachy żelaznej lub cementu. Używano też woreczków z piaskiem. W pewnym okresie stosowano też okrągłe ciężarki wykonane ze szkła. Mają one formę dawniej używanych okrągłych ciężarków glinianych.
