Drawing made by w:Wenceslas Hollar (1607-1677) of 13th century heraldic stained glass formerly present in the chancel of All Saints' Church, Preston Bagot, Warwickshire:

  • 1: Arms of w:Peter de Montfort (c.1205-1265) (de Montfort of Beaudesert Castle, Warwickshire): Bendy of eight or and azure, as shown in the Dering Roll (1270/80) (no.83 Peres de Muntfort (Piers de Montfort)) (Mountford, lord of the manor of "Beldesert" (w:Beaudesert, Warwickshire). Peter de Montfort (or Piers de Montfort) (c. 1205 – 4 August 1265) of Beaudesert Castle was an English magnate, soldier and diplomat. He is the first person recorded as having presided over Parliament as a parlour or prolocutor, an office now known as Speaker of the House of Commons)
  • 2: Royal arms of Plantagenet, as borne by King Henry III (1216-1272) and his successors Edward I (1272-1307) and Edward II (1307-1327);
  • 3: Arms of Henry, 3rd Earl of Leicester and Lancaster (c.1281-1345) was a grandson of King Henry III of England
  • 4: Arms of Beauchamp, Earl of Warwick. (William de Beauchamp, 9th Earl of Warwick (c. 1238 – 1298);
