Das Instrument enthält einen Kreisel, der, in Federn aufgehängt, die Winkelgeschwindigkeit der Hochachse eines Flugzeuges anzeigt. Betriebsspannung 36V / 400Hz. Das Variometer arbeitet selbständig ohne Hilfsenergie und misst barometrisch(e) Steig-/Sinkgeschwindigkeit.
