English: Creative expression of protest by the population in the Wendland (district Lüchow-Dannenberg) against German nuclear policy, the annual "Castor" transports to interim storage facility for German highly radioactive nuclear waste and the plans for a repository for highly radioactive nuclear waste in the salt dome Gorleben-Rambow. The photo was taken near the village Klein Gusborn.
Deutsch: Stillleben als Ausdruck des Protestes der Bevölkerung im Wendland gegen die jährlichen "Castor"-Transporte ins Zwischenlager Gorleben sowie die Pläne eines Endlagers für hochradioaktiven Atommüll im Salzstock Gorleben-Rambow. Nach 35 Jahren mit immer neuen Enthüllungen und Erkenntnissen über die völlig willkürliche Standortauswahl Gorlebens und geologische Mängel im Bereich des Salzstockes misstraut die örtliche Bevölkerung den jüngsten politischen Ankündigungen über alternative Standortsuchen für ein Endlager. Kritisch hinterfragt wird insbesondere, warum das Bergwerk trotzdem mit Hochdruck weiter ausgebaut wird und immer weitere "Castorbehälter" in das oberirdische Zwischenlager Gorleben transportiert werden. Das Bild entstand in der Nähe des Dorfes Klein Gusborn an der Südroute der Straßenstrecke des Castortransportes.
