Reluctance to Western Education in Northern parts of Nigeria

Summary[edit]

Description
English: Northern Nigeria is inhabited by Muslims who follow the paths of Arabic countries. Hence, they mostly feel Western Education is unimportant and such not be made mandatory for their wards.

The number of school children standing at morning assembly here is the entire population of pupils enrolled in Gwamma Academy, the school they are photographed in front of. Northern Nigeria is the most populous part of Nigeria.. this means that the percentage of Nigerian northerners who enrol their wards in schools to receive western education is significantly low.

P.s they flock like herd for Islamia, their Arabic teaching schools.
