Description

This magnificent shot of a magnificent bridge in Lisdoonvarna, County Clare was taken by Mr. French for the Lawrence Collection. The unusual structure fills that great height to perfection, and must have delighted the engineer who designed and constructed it?

The engineer (according to our contributors, <a rel="noreferrer nofollow">the NIAH</a> and Archiseek) was John Hill, who built the structure in 1850...
