Description
Deutsch: Ein sitzender junger Mann, vermutlich ein einfacher Matrose in der Haltung eines Napoleons kurz vor der "Eroberung der Welt". Das Foto wurde vermutlich in Berlin, Leipziger Platz 12 aufgenommen, worauf die Rückseite des Kartonträgers (s. unten) mit der zuobersten Adresse hinweist (vgl. andere Rückseiten von Höffert). In diesem Fall weist der Kartonträger den Urheber des Fotos schon auf der Vorderseite der Carte de Visite als "W. Höffert, Hofphotograph" aus, in bräunlicher Farbe zugedruckt, während die näheren Informationen auf der Rückseite (s. unten) in schwarzer Farbe gedruckt sind. Die Beschädigungen des Fotos rühren daher, daß das Foto recht ruppig an eine senkrechte Fläche genagelt wurde: Am Original ist ganz oben deutlich der Abdruck eines abgeknickten Nagels zu erkennen. Immerhin war den offensichtlich wenig wohlhabenden Eigentümer(n) des Fotos die jederzeit mögliche Betrachtung des Fotos wichtig. Das Foto des noch unidentifizierten jungen Mannes fand Mitte September 2011 seinen Weg aus Argentinien (C1405CSA - C.A.B.A.) zurück nach Europa, um bei Commons für alle Menschen zur weiteren Klärung der Biographie des Urhebers beizutragen.
