Description Allegory of a dream of love; a partially draped woman reclines sleeping on a couch, right; a butterfly is alighted on her thigh; a human figure with an elephant's head - Gaṇeśa - kneels bottom right, pointing towards the title; two cupids are seen escaping through the window, left; a third remains within, shooting an arrow at the woman; behind her, a nude male figure stands statue-like, his right finger on his lips; he represents the Egyptian God Harpocrates. c1790 Etching
