Description
English: William Osgood Taylor (1871–1955) was publisher of The Boston Globe from 1921 to 1955. He succeeded his father, Globe founder Charles H. Taylor, and was succeeded by his son William Davis Taylor. A grandson and namesake, William O. Taylor II, would also serve as publisher from 1978 to 1997.
