William Shepard (11/25/1825-5/16/1914) became a doctor in 1853 and opened his water cure sanitarium, 790 N. Nelson Road, March 30, 1855. Remaining structures of the sanitarium burned October 8, 1981. Shepard served in the Ohio House of Representatives 1886-7 and donated the land for Gahanna's second high school in 1887. His wife was Charlotte Rose. |
