Willy Truye (Wiel's-Flandria) komt als eerste over de meet tijdens Gullegem Koerse. Langs de kant van de weg moedigen de toeschouwers de renner aan. Langs de rechterzijde is een tribune opgesteld, van waarop mensen de wedstrijd kunnen volgen. Links staat iemand van de wedstrijdorganisatie met een vlag in de hand. De wedstrijd werd verreden op 7 juni 1960 in Gullegem.
