| Notes | From the Diamond Robe of the Black Madonna. Spiritual analogy of God as a lover wounding his beloved to prepare them for union with him. Supposedly a gift of Anna Catherine Constance Vasa. In 1642 the Princess visited Jasna Góra Monastery with her fiance Count Palatine of Neuburg. It is confirmed that among Anna Catherine's possessions were a pendant with 48 diamonds, two pendants "in the shape of the heart", a ruby heart and a "kanak (necklace) with a Conterfet (effigy) in the form of a heart" a gift from the Duke of Brandenburg. | |||||||||||||||||||||||
