Description
Deutsch: Wuppertal, Wohnquartier Sonnborn, Deutscher Ring 9, katholische Pfarrkirche St. Bonifatius, nördl. Seitenschiff, 1. Kreuzweg-Station: "Jesus wird zum Tode verurteilt". Man sieht Jesus vor Pontius Pilatus stehen, der seine Hände wäscht, ein Reinigungsritual, von dem die berühmte Redewendung: "Ich wasche meine Hände in Unschuld" ihren Ausgang nahm. Die Bronze-Tafel wurde wie auch die anderen 13 Exemplare des Kreuzwegs von dem Frechener Bildhauer Olaf Höhnen geschaffen.
