Description
Deutsch: Wuppertal, Jesinghauser Str. 1, Langerfelder Gedenktafel 10, die an den Fund eines kölnischen Ritterschwerts des Hochmittelalters, geschmiedet um 1200, bei Straßenarbeiten zur Verbreiterung der Kohlenstraße 1926 erinnert. Es befand sich unter einer Wegdecke, die wiederum im zeitweiligen Bett der Schwelme verlief, welche der benachbarten Stadt Schwelm den Namen gab und heute auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite der Jesinghauser Straße der nahen Mündung in die Wupper zustrebt. Leider verscholl das Schwert im Zweiiten Weltkrieg.
