Description
Deutsch: Wuppertal, Wohnquartier Varresbeck, Varresbecker Bahnhof, historische Gebäude der Güterabfertigung an der oberen Mettmanner Straße: als Kopfteil ein schmaler Backsteinbau für die Verwaltung, dahinter ein Fachwerkschuppen, dessen Wand die typischen Öffnungen für die (inzwischen durch Metalltüren ersetzten) hölzernen Verschiebe-Rolltore erkennen lässt, vor denen die aufgemauerte Bühne das Be- und Entladen von Güterwaggons ermöglichte, die über ein vor der anschließenden Backsteinhalle endendes Stumpfgleis vorgeschoben wurden.
