The view here shows some details of the bracketing. The hall's roof, unlike most examples of major temple buildings, is not hipped. Instead it is a fold-over gable roof that looks like an inverted "V" in cross-section. Inside, the roof is supported by trusses. This is very unusual for Chinese temple buildings. |
