Description
Русский: «Сеялка для свекловицы производит 4 ряда борозд и занимает полосу земли в 7 футов ширины; свекловичные семена падают в бороздки вместе с навозом, обращённым в порошок, и тотчас покрываются землёю. Внутри сеялки находятся три большие перегородки: для навоза в порошке, и две меньшие - для зерна. Количество высеваемого зерна зависит от величины сеющих отверстий, которые могут быть уменьшаемы или увеличиваемы посредством особого механизма, состоящего из крылатой гайки, соединённой со штангой, которая поддерживает задвижки.

Стрелка на делении означает номер, соответствующий в табличке известному количеству высеваемого зерна.

Эта сеялка удобна также для посева других семян, как то: моркови, турнепса и т.п.»
